Task 1: Article to Summarise (400 words)
Your first task is to write a summary of a set newspaper story on the addictive
properties of codeine.
The article is ‘Pharmacies across the UK could be BANNED from selling
codeine over the counter amid growing fears about painkiller addiction’

Task 2: Accuracy of the Article (300 words)
With reference to published literature, MHRA guidance, and pharmacology
textbooks, explain whether the information in the newspaper is accurate or
not. This section should be a critique of the article against the evidence.

words)
