Considering everything we read in class this semester, which reading, in your opinion, is most inspirationally American? That is, which reading gives a strong view or example of a positive American quality? It is easy to pick examples of America’s negative qualities: slavery, the awful treatment of Native peoples, religious intolerance, etc. But what have we read that offers the most positive view of America? Your essay should be 500-700 words long (2-3 pages).There are obviously no wrong answers to this question, just stronger or weaker arguments.
