Throughout the semester students are required to reflect on what social justice means in their life, learn about the present and past history of social justice, volunteer for an organization dedicated to advocacy or social justice or develop a social justice project. The reflection paper should include student reactions and the extent of learning across all experiences.
Students must write a 2.5 page single spaced APA-style reflection paper.
? These reflections should be written in the first person
? Share the student’s theoretical understanding of how social justice, advocacy, and /or social change was applied
? Provide both an assessment of how well the social action met the intended goals
? Examine the student’s own self-evaluation of learning
