Consider discussing the following with your ministry supervisor and incorporate in your response any practical insights you gleaned from his or her verbal feedback.

Even believers who live and minister within the same tradition can have a difference of opinion at certain theological junctures. How can the challenges of navigating these differences well help believers to grow spiritually? How can ministry leaders, in particular, who have disagreements with others in their ministry over various theological issues, work through these differences in peaceful and productive ways?

Keep in mind the importance of discerning the difference between essential and nonessential doctrines as well as the need to engage in theological disagreements with grace and kindness. Discussion Question 1
