For this paper, you will define and explain modernity, post modernity, and the relationship between the two. At a minimum, the paper must address the following items/questions:

  1. How does sociology define the modern era, in terms of both its historical timeline (when was it), and its characteristics?
  2. How does sociology define the postmodern era, in terms of both its historical timeline, and its characteristics?
  3. Discuss the relationship between the two.The paper must conform to the following general requirements, which are also mentioned in the syllabus:
    1. Papers must consist of no fewer than 800 words.
