The policy memo requires you to find a contemporary issue germane to the class material. This means it must be international. You will be required to write a 1000-word editorial proposing an alternative to the contemporary issue. In the editorial, you must explain why other approaches have failed, why this approach would be effective, the roadblocks to its implementation, and the expected results of its adoption. You cannot choose Ukraine, COVID, or that which is domestic US based. This assignment will have standard font (12 point) and one-inch margins (all around).
