Assignment: Choose a phenomenon or trend that concerns you and discuss/analyze/explain the causes using at least 3 outside sources. Narrow your topic enough to treat it in some detail. When seeking causes, you will have to decide carefully how far back to go in your search for remote causes. Moreover, you must be sure to distinguish between the immediate causes and the remote causes of the situation you are analyzing. for this assignment you have complete control of the subject matter of the essay, but must conform to the following:
Paper length: 5-8 double-spaced pages. Minimum is 5 FULL pages.
Provide a title for your essay.
Assume your audience is an academic audience whom you are trying to convince of your point of view.
Include at least 3 outside sources (one 1 of these three can be a credible website, the rest about be articles obtained through a Library/Scholarly Database)
Use correct MLA format in your paper and parenthetical citations.
Compose a works cited page (this is not considered part of the page count)
Review the Rubric for the paper, and make sure your paper conforms to all the requirements.
