The purpose of the discussion forum assignment is for class members to engage in a professional discussion about a particular topic and to support their comments using evidence. For each discussion assignment, a discussion prompt will be presented by course faculty. Students are to devise in writing an initial response to all components of the prompt. You have been randomly assigned to all Dbs – to access your group simply click on that Db and you will only be able to access one group. The groups are not necessarily the same throughout this course to allow for a much richer exposure and involvement to the thoughts and opinions of your peers.The initial response/post must be posted to the discussion forum by Wednesday at 11:30PM of the discussion week. Students are also required to post at least one additional response to posts made by other members of the class by no later than Friday at 11:30 PM. All posts (initial and replies) must include support from the reading assignments or other learning activities completed in the course. In-text citations and a complete reference list in APA format must be included in each post. Please use proper spelling and grammar in all posts. Please be respectful of your classmates and adhere to proper netiquette throughout the discussion. Unprofessional posts will be deleted and the student will receive a score of “0” for the assignment.
