For the research paper, you must support the argument and observations with solid and significant textual evidence. The arguments should be compelling and unique, all while pushing towards a better aesthetic understanding of a text and novel ways of interpreting it. Use a variety of contextual, theoretical, and argumentative sources to produce your own insightful argument conveying a more complex meaning and significance of your selected text. You should aim to explore a specific interpretive problem evident in the text by analyzing it and critically engaging with existing opinions about the text and relevant theory.
