A research organization intends to develop a shared storage for data solely used for
research purpose. The sensitivity of the data is very high. The organization wants to develop
a robust data security policy to ensure the security of data to all stake holders.
Policy Aims: The Research Data Management policy aims to ensure that researchers
manage their research data effectively, enabling them to:
1. Demonstrate the rigor and integrity of their research;
2. Retain eligible data for reuse where appropriate;
3. Comply with ethical, legal and funder requirements in relation to research data and
the management of research data;
4. Ensure security of the data.
