Case study selection – Option 1 (preferred)
Identify a woman you have cared for experiencing a hypertensive disorder (*as above)
during the antenatal period (but not during induction of labour)
Examples could include an inpatient on the antenatal ward, a woman experiencing a
short stay on antenatal day assessment unit or monitoring and referral of a woman in a community setting.
Discuss the proposed case with your Practice Supervisor(s).
Submit a short description of the scenario (gestation, parity, presentation, outcome etc.)
to Elizabeth Nocton or Kim Wilcock for approval prior to commencing work. This is to avoid
selection of an inappropriate case which may not allow you to achieve the assignment
outcomes for this unit
