In your own words, explain why Newman believes a gentleman should cultivate “gentleness and effeminacy (tenderness) of feeling, you know, get in touch with his feminine side without any controversy. Please, no critical Mombo-jumbo, and again, use your own words to explain. That means you should have read and understood what you’ve read, so that you can explain it without regurgitating Newman word for word. A paraphrase or two is okay, but should be minimal at best, and parenthetically cited within your paragraph.
