Identify an international country on which to focus for this project

Writing about Disability

The Disability Around the World assignment is an opportunity to learn more about disability from a global perspective through comparison of international countries and the United States. Students will choose an international country as the focus of their research, which will span several of the topics covered in class. Students will share their findings with a small group of peers during our class sessions, and the group will compare and contrast across countries and the US. Each student will complete a final summary analysis of what they learned from the group discussions, including conclusions about each of the topics discussed. Students are encouraged to take notes during the small group discussions as they may be useful for your individual final summary analysis and reflection.
