Topic: Origins of Photography and The Daguerreotype (See Files)
Through a well-organized argument tie each topic to at least one contemporary (1960 – on to present) movement, work, or artist. Clearly identify these works you choose by artist, title, and date.
The relationship between the two works can be close or distant in terms of style, form, content, or subject matter; however, you are required to explain the relationship and your reasons for choosing these two works.
(The objective of this paper is to cumulatively apply the art historical knowledge and terminology to new and unfamiliar work that you find interesting while also allowing you the most flexibility with what you choose and how you develop your argument.)
