1. The Hero’s Journey is a narrative template from mythology that covers the progress of a hero on an adventure. It is often applied to stories both in literature and film. 2. Catharsis is “the purification and purgation of emotions—particularly pity and fear—through art or any extreme change in emotion that results in renewal and restoration.” Explore how the idea of Catharsis is used in 2 or more of the stories that we have studied.
