One of the most important topics that we study that relates to derivatives is the concept of optimization, where we create a model for a real-life scenario and then determine either the maximum or minimum value. For this post, describe a real-world situation where a person would want to determine an optimum value, either a maximum or minimum. In your scenario, what information would be needed in order to develop an accurate model?
Part 2.
One of the final concepts that we study in Calculus 1 is that of antidifferentiation. Describe the process of antidifferentiation. Does this process relate to finding limits and/or differentiation? Do some research on antidifferentiation. What did you find? Are there physical applications of antidifferentation? If so, describe one.
