As discussed in the course content, marriage rates in the United States have declined over the past century. This has led some to argue that marriage is an outdated institution and primary family form.
In a minimum of one full-typed page, discuss your thoughts whether you feel that marriage is an outdated institution (see the PowerPoint slides). If not outdated, describe why; such as marriage’s relevance in today’s society and culture. If outdated, discuss why, including what other family formations are more relevant.
