Read the provided Year in Review article excerpt, and write an essay describing one of the topics included in the excerpt that provides additional technical detail and context from external sources on that topic.1 Essays must focus on a topic of current interest in the aerospace field identified in this article, and your essays must be specifically on the topic of materials, structures, and/or manufacturing2.
