Topic: This week you covered a large number of inherited metabolic diseases. These diseases are summarized in Table 7-1 of your textbook. In many cases, these diseases will require specific lifestyle changes to prevent the illness (many times the modification of diet). As a nurse, it is critical that you can deliver appropriate lifestyle and dietary information to the patient (of parents of the patient) that has been diagnosed with one of these metabolic disorders. Your assignment this week is to pick one metabolic disorder and create a document that introduces the disease to the patient (and the patient stakeholders) and outlines appropriate lifestyle choices that addresses the metabolic disorder.

• Length should be 1500-1750 words, not including the title and references pages (typed, 12 point font, double spaced).
• Include these subheadings in your paper: Summary of ____________ (Insert name of the metabolic disorder that you picked), Potential Problematic Nutrients and Foods, Example Diet
• Support your content with at least (4) citations. Make sure to reference the citations using APA writing style for the presentation.
