Considering that in the majority of the historical examples, the need to procreate and sustain life was imperative in their harsh and difficult living conditions. Dolls and playtime were employed to prepare the young for the challenges awaiting in adulthood and parenthood. Are their similarities in the way in which your society plays and uses dolls, other figurines, or play toys? Provide an example and explain.

We have just explored some examples of representations of the body along with the concept of the body in art. How have other people throughout history used their body as a canvas for creating art (for example, tattoos, scarification, body paint, or molds)? How does this speak to the construction or perception of gender or beauty?
