Literature Search with Boolean Operative
1. Choose a topic that has personal meaning to YOUR health, interests and well-being.
2. Conduct an electronic literature search on your topic using Boolean Search terms. Use one of
the following database directories found in the Everett Library on-line resources to conduct your
search:
ProQuest Central
3. Access two of these citations from the database to use in your essay. The citations should be
from an original article (not an abstract or newspaper article) and should be published within the
last 5 years. Use APA format to cite and reference your articles. Include the permalink to the
article when creating your reference list. All articles must be published within the last five (5)
years.
