Here you will share about five paragraphs of observations and reflections on readings in Connecting California. Please use Chapters 5-7 (any of those chapters) in the Second Edition. If you use the First Edition, please use material from the Mexican Rancho Era to the 1870s.
Discuss at least four selections (primary or secondary sources) from Connecting California. Put the title of each selection you use in bold.
Examine each document critically, and consider how it adds to our understanding of the broader history we are studying. It helps if you show connections among the materials used, relating them to a common theme. You may use an informal style, but please write in paragraphs.
Please try not to repeat very much material that you already shared in the essays for Part I.
