This will be a 1-3 page reaction to a primary source that you locate in the READER. Spelling, grammar, formatting, and citation count. All work needs to be double-spaced as per Chicago or Turabian. This should be done in a word document. The goal of the writing is to:
1) Identify the author(s).
2) Identify the original intended audience.
3) What sort of document is it (legislation, poem, personal letter, etc.).
4) What does the document say and in what context?
5) What is the document’s intention?
6) What does this reveal or tell us about the time it was written?
7) What have you learned as a result?
8) Make sure you back up your arguments using citatichoon from the material (Turabian or Chicago).
