Introduction to Health Informatics “Infographic”

1️⃣ Read and annotate the article “Role of Technology in COVID-19 Pandemic” in Perusall.

2️⃣ Case: You have been hired at a state health department to help revolutionize how they address population health in their regional area. You have been asked to share information regarding how they could use technology to address future pandemics. You decide to create an infographic to disseminate the information to the board.

3️⃣ Beginning in Section 5.4 of the article (Attached), the authors discuss various types of technology used to support communities during the most recent pandemic. Select one of the technologies (Drone Technology) discussed in the article and create an infographic to present to the board of directors. Please do not select fitness wearables or telehealth as the technology to present.

Your infographic should demonstrate how technology was a vital tool during the pandemic and inform the reader about your specific topic.
Know your subject. Become a content expert on your topic. Do thorough research on your topic.
Share key points visually; show, do not tell. Try converting as much of your data and text into visual imagery using charts, graphs, diagrams, maps, flowcharts, and other elements.
Draw a rough sketch of the infographic. The infographic must have a beginning, middle, and end.
Use at least two other sources of information besides the assigned article. Some of your sources can be gray literature (not peer-reviewed). Provide your references on a separate page in the correct format.
Using data will make your project more meaningful and help your audience visualize the significance of your topic.
Proofread well. Save the infographic as a pdf so it is viewable by anyone.
