Rome/Athens: Which had the better form of Citizenship?
When writing an argumentative essay there are a few important points to remember. Please make sure you choose a side; you can’t argue while sitting on the fence (trying to defend both points of views). Be sure to explain and defend your opinion with facts and evidence from the DBQ Documents Packet. In your explanation you need to write as if the audience has no prior knowledge of either Rome or Athens; therefore, your job is not only to convince the audience but to educate and inform them as well.
