More specifically, the research will compare common suburban developments via a set of criteria to determine if and how development has changed over time. This criterion will include development form, zoning or land-use, housing typologies, proximity to needs, as well as a few select contemporary quantitative performance analytics. Historic time frames are broken down into six distinct eras in order to establish base years for historic analysis.
