Research Question & Methodology
Based on the concept that dysfunctional communication is a concern in the organizational
environment, the authors explore this research question: What communication strategies are
critical to reduce dysfunctionalism communication within organizations and sustain a positive organizational culture?
To explore this research question, the following research objectives are considered:
RQ1: What are the various roles within an organization and what affect do interpersonal relationships have on the communication patterns and culture of the organization?
RQ2: What communication patterns influence the structure of an organization?
RQ3: What is the importance of internal and external communication in sustaining the organizational culture?
