Describe the main value perspective1 . Please use Michael Porter’s value chain perspective (2001) that the organisation maintains in the design of its processes and procedures. Please see example below. *
Explain how the value proposition2 you identify is reflected in the operations function. Use the product you have selected to illustrate your answer.
Outline the main financial and other performance metrics used in the organisation, and outline to what extent the performance metrics you identify reflect the value proposition of the organisation. Use the product or products you have selected to illustrate your answer.
Explain how organisational value is created through this approach. Be specific in the linkages between the operations and finance functions.
Discuss how the organisation uses business intelligence3 to contribute to the value proposition for the chosen product or service.

Discuss how the organization’s value proposition could be best aligned and fulfilled through interventions in its strategy for business intelligence3 and analytics.
Basing your answer on the product you focused on in Task 1a, critically evaluate the analytic maturity of the organisation and its role in the value realization process, and also in the identification of new types of value creation. (Refer to chapter 4.4 and Chapter 5 reading)
