Using the Thomas Edison State University (TESU) library databases, research any topic of your choice. To access the TESU library databases, follow these instructions:
Log into the myEdison portal.
Click on the Educational tab found under My Resources.
Click on the EBSCOhost and/or ProQuest link(s) to begin your search.
Note: You must be logged into the myEdison portal in order to access the databases listed above. You may also find the following link helpful as you conduct research throughout this course: Information Literacy for TESU Students.
Then, in a 2- to 3-page paper in APA or MLA format, identify three sources you would use if you were to write a paper on the topic.
Why did you select those sources? Talk your reader through each source and determine what makes each source a “scholarly” source and appropriate for an argumentative research paper.
Finally, discuss why database sources are better choices than Internet-based sources for an argumentative research paper.
