As a Patient Services Manager my role is to provide administrative management for nursing staff and the physical environment in my area. These include but are not limited to oversight of payroll, scheduling, competency, education, on boarding, hiring, quality and safety, patient experience and inter-professional and inter-departmental collaboration and communication, capital projects, budget management, supply chain, efficiency, and compliance with law and industry standards. My department provides stabilization and disposition of psychiatry patients in the Emergency Department setting.
