Introduction (300 – 450 words) The introduction should:
• describe what you are going to do in the assignment, be clear and concise
• define attachment and bonding and provide an appropriate context for reviewing the literature
• explain the organisation – i.e. sequence – of your literature review
• state the scope of the review – i.e.
What is included and what isn’t included. For example, if you were reviewing the literature on bonding and attachment relate to an example you have observed in practice
Main body (2400 words)
The middle or main body should:
• organize the literature according to common themes;
• critically analyses the literature on attachment and bonding and provide an appropriate context for reviewing the literature
• provide insight into the relation between attachment and bonding and the wider subject area e.g. parenting
• identify significant flaws or gaps in existing knowledge
