Job Analysis Interview Questions
The following are examples of interview questions HR professionals use to gather information for a job analysis.
1. Job’s purpose
What work do you essentially do? What is the job’s
overall purpose?
How do you see your work contributing to the overall mission or purpose of the organization, now and in the future?
2. Job’s duties
Describe your duties in terms of what they are, how you do them, how often you perform them, and how long they each take. Does the job have to be done in the way you were trained to do it, or do you see ways to improve it? Are you performing duties not presently included in your job description? Describe them.Are the instructions you receive from your supervisor clear and consistent with your job description?
