Which of those definitions do you think fits your own game play experiences prior to this class?

Remember to respond to both questions (in one single reply) – roughly 250-300 words each, so a total of roughly 500-600 words total for your post:

Critical Response (CR): In the Rogers chapter, you saw several definitions of games. Koster gave you a different vision of what games are for. Stein kuehler talks about another way of seeing games. The Gee video provided yet another definition.

Which of those definitions do you think fits your own game play experiences prior to this class?

What about that definition connects for you? After playing Life Is Strange with these new perspectives on what games are for, did you approach the game differently? How so?

Reflective Response (RR)

What is your prior experience with games? Have you played much, or are you new to games? Remember, that includes phone games, “casual” games, and more than just AAA shooters.

Have you ever thought about making games? After reading the Rogers chapter and the other perspectives on what games are, how has your understanding of games changed?
