Applying Health Psychology to Behaviour Change : Healthy campus case study report
Smoking rates are highest among young adults: 23% of those
aged 16-24 and 24% among the 25-34 age group. However,
many want to quit and there are increased rates of e-cigarette use
among young adults.
The University would like to support more
students to quit smoking.
What interventions would you suggest
to support university students to quit smoking?
You must include
at least one policy level intervention and one individual/group
intervention and support your suggestions with relevant research
evidence.
