Social Action Project and Virtual Collaboration : – Individual Critical Evaluation
1) Critical reflection on the research, solution generation and planning processes that
your team undertook for the pitch/presentation. You will need to identify the market
need for your social enterprise in the current global context and justify why you
selected this particular context. It should be rigorous enough to present to a potential
funding source or investor. Academic references and statistics must support your
justification and decision-making.
2) Critical reflection on the individual work you undertook for your own social action
project. Describe what social action project you undertook and the impact it had on
you and society. How can you take this learning forward in your own professional
career?
Your own social action project could EITHER pick up the ideas you have generated in weeks
1-4 and further develop them OR comprise of work you have carried out for an identified
client who is a UK based charity or social enterprise. For example, this could be one of the
following options:
A) Develop a grant funding application for a small project of the client’s choice
B) Carry out an agreed digital marketing activity on your client’s behalf
C) Carry out a risk analysis or operational review on a particular activity for your chosen
client.
