Psychology of Emotions
Think of a time you experienced a strong emotion.
a. What was that emotion?
b. How did you know that it was this emotion, and not another one? Did you know immediately, or did it take some time for you to determine which emotion?
c. What somatic (body) cues did you have – that is, what was your body doing to make you feel the emotion you did?
d. What was your posture and facial expression? Do you think they magnified this emotion, or not?
