▪ Examine relevant academic literature and policy reports and identify a particular aspect of organised crime that is of relevance to the country. It could be the most problematic or the most under-researched aspect (e.g. child sexual exploitation in Cambodia or heroin trafficking in Afghanistan).
▪ Assess what measures the country has in place to counter that aspect of organised crime, possibly including, but not limited to, political debates on security, risk, international threats assessments, criminal law provisions and justice strategies. Are there any interventions or strategies that could be improved, in your opinion?
▪ Based on your research and the literature review, make a set of policy-relevant recommendations to improve areas of intervention that could potentially be strengthened.
