Encourage reluctant readers to engage with a variety of texts in and outside of school?
Questions may be relevant to how we can guide parents to support their children through
online learning. How are we communicating and maintaining contact? What structures
are in place and what challenges or barriers arise from this? (EAL, poverty, EY). What
might teachers be doing in terms of explicit instruction? How might modelling of learning
be developed? How will the enquiry capitalise on whatever is in place? E.g. how will the
enquiry strengthen relationships with parents or people within the wider school
community?
