The exam is made up of two parts. The time limit is 180 minutes.
Part One: answer two short answer questions, each worth 10 marks. The questions are based on passages randomly drawn from the readings listed on the course timeline (under “Course Information”).
Part Two: one essay question, worth 20 marks.
For this section, you must write a formal academic essay that is a minimum of five paragraphs on the randomly assigned essay topic. You must fully answer all the components of the question, including providing a specific examples (quotations are not necessay) from the course readings
As always, spelling, grammar, and the mechanics of sentence/paragraph construction are part of the grading for the exam
