An Exploration of Methods of Finding the Roots of Equations
The purpose of the following exploration is to examine, analyze and compare the various ways that may be used when calculating the roots of an equation. The methods comprise the Newton-Raphson method, the change of sign technique and the technique of reordering 0 = f (x) within the arrangement g (x) = x. The above methods will help in the calculation of roots for equations. At the end, the advantages and disadvantages of the flaws will be measured against each other and the best will be determined based on elements such as the quickness of merging (Milne 16).
