Reflect critically on your experience of using the ELSIE project to research your career plan
the essay needs to answers on questions:
What your project involved (only a brief description!);
(ii) Whether and how you feel your employability has been
affected by the experience (be specific – in what ways? Contacts? Formal work experience in future? A stronger sense of what employers are looking for? A stronger sense of the working life and demands/needs of the role you are interested in? a change of mind or future direction? interview or other specific skills?);
(iii) Your awareness of which skills you need to develop in order to enter your chosen workplace;
(iv) Any difficulties you are likely to encounter in the future and how you might overcome them;
(v) What went well and what went badly;
(vi) How you feel you have been ‘challenged’ by new ways of
working and what you might do differently in the future;
(vii) (If applicable…) the advantages and benefits of collaboration,
and its disadvantages and problems; and,
(viii) What general lessons and conclusions you can draw from all of the above for the future.
