Trends in the Department of Defense
INTRODUCTION
The United States Department of Defense (DOD) seems to have hit a wall in its capacity; as a result, adversaries narrow the gap. Three trends have contributed to the decline of the almighty DOD. The first trend is the aging and obsolescence of equipment, the second trend is DOD budget controls, and the final trend is Continuous Resolutions. The research paper will focus on discussing each trend and strategies that will help in mitigating the issues facing the DOD.
