Look at 3-5 sources that provide tips for drafting contracts that will protect your business.
Be sure to list the sites you use.
1) Using the advice from these sites, create a checklist of essential components or sections that a business owner or manager would want in a contract. Of course, you still might be wise to have your attorney review the document before you sign, but is there consensus on what generally is important? (75 pts)
2) Negotiation is something we engage in frequently, not just for work, but in relationships with family members and neighbors, or when we rent an apartment, buy a car, return a defective item to a store.
Describe a memorable negotiation that you were involved in and whether you reached a satisfactory outcome. In looking back, is there something you think that helped you be successful or do you see something you might do differently if you had it to do over? (50 pts)
