Military book review
As a professional reading project, select a book from your own professional reading list. It doesn’t have to be on the list you submitted in MS301, it just has to be a book that you want to read for your own professional development. Prepare a 2-3 page double spaced synopsis addressing the following: The author’s main points or theories; why the author feels understanding this concept is so significant; and how you can apply these ideas as a future leader. Support your ideas with relevant examples. This report will be due to the instructor on 30 April 2021.
You must read the entire book that you choose and You should spend no more than 2 hours writing your book synopsis.
Your paper grade is based on the following criteria:
Summation (30%): Summation of the content of the book, the main points, the author’s intent, conclusion(s) etc.
Analysis (30%): Your critical analysis of the author’s main points and conclusion(s). Do you agree with him?
Why or why not? Is his book still relevant to today’s military? Why or why not?
Lessons Learned/Application (30%):
What lessons learned can you derive from this professional reading?
How can you apply these lessons now or as a future military leader?
How can you use this professional reading to help future Soldiers you may lead?
